I also wonder how many jewels the Royal Family has we don't know about. As the Portuguese Royal Family is very low profile, people usually don't care much about their jewels but from time to time the Duchess brings a new piece, many of them probably heirlooms. I remember the 'Ladies of Rio Aquamarine demi-parure' or the (diamond?) earings that D.Isabel wore at the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg pre-wedding banquet.
Also, after reading the book, I started thinking that the 'Prince of Beira sapphire ring' is an heirloom too. You are right, the pictures are copyrighted but I have some that probably can be posted (just don't know how ).

I read somewhere that the book was supposed to have pictures of the jewels that the Royal Family presented to Queen Augusta Vitória (tiara and choker) but the authorization didn't came at time.

About the title of HRH, probably you are right but is quite usual to refer to HRH as D.Isabel of Herédia, even in the midst of the Causa Real (Portuguese Royal movement).

I never heard about that history of D.Duarte but is very funny: HRH has, in fact, a great sense of humour.
