New look for the DofC? Archived Message

There is an interesting article in Vanity Fair saying that the Queen has requested the DofC lower her hemlines for the upcoming visit in April to Australia. But the more interesting part of the article is that the Queen has also encouraged the DofC to "wear tiaras favored by HM and the Queen Mother". There has also been a request that the DofC wear "statement jewelry and gemstones from the Queen's personal collection."

Of course the validity of claims made in the article can't be verified, but I'm hoping that there is at least some truth to it. I think I can safely say that we all hope the Duchess takes crates of jewels to Australia, and puts on a serious show of glitter and swag!!

EDIT: I just found out the source of VF's article is The Daily Mail....not often a reliable place for information. So I guess we can take all of this with a grain of salt. But it doesn't stop me from hoping that Kate wears a tiara the entire time she's in Australia....24/7.
