Ashdean's comment about an emerald tiara belonging to Mrs Greville -- possibly bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother) has prompted my query. How have people been able to compile lists of the jewels which were bequeathed to QEQM? Roberts in the Queen's Diamonds has provided authoritative evidence for some - but what evidence is there about other jewels in the bequest? I have not read Vincent Meylan's books so I apologise to you, Vincent, if you have already written about this.
