I think the Queen could have been wearing the necklace and the artist included only a certain amount of detail. --Previous Message-- : I agree that the artist was definitely : portraying QV's Jubilee Necklace. When : looking at paintings we must always take : into consideration artistic license : especially if the portrait is not done in a : realist style. And HM could have very well : been wearing the complete necklace but the : artist thought it too busy and decided to : only paint the central element. :
