But seriously, do we know when QEQM initially started to wear earrings (as shown in photos, at least).? If QEQM did not initially have her ears pierced, and if it was in the year she became Queen, it would have taken 6 weeks to 2 months for her ears to heal. That would meant a significant time before photos could be taken after the small hoops ( which were normally used at the time when ears were pierced) could be taken out. Undoubtedly, the time period could have been arranged without public notice, so QEQM may not have initially had pierced ears.
