What we know for sure is that nobody can be sure at this point. Possibly in a couple of weeks time things will be a bit clearer. As it currently stands it does look unlikely but there is a possibility and I suppose venues are going ahead with panto plans at the moment to be prepared, they can easily be cancelled and people refunded if it comes to that. I admire the optimism of venues and am glad they are continuing to plan to a panto season. I would say at this point there is maybe a 30% chance it will happen. Jeremy Vine knows nothing that the rest of us know. He is not a panto person.
