As much as I'd love panto to go on this season, I doubt it. Some say it's up to the producers, but ultimately it's up to the theatres and the gov to decide when to reopen.

Not just that, but I'd think it'd be hugely irresponsible to do so. Is putting on a pantomime really work the risk. Think about it, families - children, parents and grandparents (risk group!), all packed into a thousand-seater theatre, hissing, shouting, screaming, coughing, sneezing... It'd be a scandal if an outbreak occurred and got linked to a pantomime.

I can't see it happening, and as optimistic as we can be, I don't see theatres re-opening for quite some time...
