Since you seek to publish scholarly work, this would be a cause of concern. I've done my best to illuminate this. Actors are people too, as are other types of artists. Such 'jokes' at their expense, lampooning them, are in my and others' opinions, distasteful. A touch of humor is welcome, but not this kind.
