It was interesting. She didn’t weigh me-which kind of surprised me-but I told her what I weighed this morning. She said the past few years she has gone rogue with what she tells people. She is finding a lot of really good solid information that a plant-based diet is best for people who want to be healthier and lose weight as well. She said ideally people should try to eat at least 50 different kinds of fruits and vegetables in a week. I can’t even imagine eating 25 different fruits and vegetables a week, but she said it’s easier than it seems. She also said that getting enough fiber is important. Both of these things lead to a healthy gut which she says is key to feeling better and losing weight! I went to the grocery store on the way home and bought several different types of fruit and vegetables. I figure it can’t hurt to incorporate them into my diet as I am not eating a lot of of these types of foods now. I know I eat too much processed food, and I will not be buying any more of my frozen lean cuisine or healthy choice meals. I will use up what I have. Does anyone else eat a plant-based diet?
