I have read through the list of jewellery wedding gifts presented to Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) in 1947 (as published on this board by our fellow poster Franck on November 17, 2008), to check whether the turquoise brooch worn by the Queen in Derbyshire could be a wedding gift. Unfortunately, I have found only two entries for turquoise jewels, and none of them corresponds to the brooch worn by the Queen last week:
From the Dowager Duchess of Portland: - A diamond and turquoise shamrock brooch (n°536)
From Miss M. D. Sutherland: - A gold, pearl and turquoise brooch (n° 2235)
BTW, there is, in this list, no gift from the Ducal Family of Devonshire.
I wonder if the diamond and turquoise shamrock brooch presented by the Dowager Duchess of Portland could be the brooch worn a few times by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall:

What do you think? (sorry if this topic has already been solved)
And has anybody information and/or pictures about the other brooch, presented by Miss M. D. Sutherland?
