    I may be in the minority here but I think that the Andmooka Opal necklace is quite wearable.

    Okay, maybe it is not for everyday but it is meant to make a statement and to be impressive.

    I have reprinted below the best picture of HM's only wearing of this necklace (same one Arthur posted above) and I think it looks lovely.



    It is in proportion and is well suited with HM's deeper neckline.

    Is is far less overpowering (for lack of a better term) the the complete 5 strand Greville Diamonds or The Duchess of Cornwall's so-called ruby "breastplate".

    I hope that one of the next generations is not so shy of opals and will some day dust off this set of magnificent jewels.
