Queen Camilla broke out one of QEII's big guns for the garden party today.
She was wearing the Williamson Pink Diamond Brooch.
Always a favourite of mine !Cheers! Bryce

Great to see this gorgeous - and very symbolic - brooch worn by Camilla. A very lovely and glittering memorial from the new Queen to the late one!
A few days earlier, on May 8th, Queen Camilla had also worn another of the major pieces of the royal brooch collection: the Cullinan V brooch - for the first time, I think (if we exclude, of course, the Coronation day, when Camilla had the Cullinan V brooch mounted at the front of Queen Mary's crown).
Unfortunately, Queen Camilla opted for a much disappointing outfit today for the service for the Order of the British Empire (of which she has been appointed Grand Master): as you can see below, she just wore a plain day dress under her Order robes and went bare-headed, whereas Queen Elizabeth II always wore, on such occasions, an evening dress and a tiara...

I had forgotten to mention it at the time, but Queen Camilla offered us, royal jewels lovers, a lovely spring gift, as she donned a new (or at least never-seen-before) brooch. It was three weeks ago, on 29th April, when Queen Camilla hosted at Clarence House the 'Maiden' Yachting Crew following their Global Ocean Race Win.
The brooch depicts the allegoric figure of Britannia. I would love to know if it is a new piece in the Royal collection (a Coronation gift, maybe?), or a piece rediscovered after a long stay in the royal jewel vault...
Sorry Arthur I am not very good at uploading pictures but pictures exist (Getty Images 78977724) of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother wearing the badge.
It is also the cap badge of the Norfolk Regiment and mu guess is that it's origins come from the regiment.Cheers! Bryce
Re: And a *NOT* new royal brooch - Britannia Brooch
You're right, Bryce - both about the picture of the Queen Mother, and about the Norfolk Regiment. Thank you for your valuable input!
