Thank you for your words Marianne. I was just repeating an opinion I've read here, but of course none of us knows for sure if it is an accurate point of vue, only HM could know . Sufering from genetic migranes myself (like almost all women in my family) I must say that it would be a very good reason not to wear a heavier tiara if I suspected a crisis was developing, but Queen Beatrix does wear the Wurtemberg pearl and the saphire tiara, that also seem not so light... Perhaps she simply dislikes the big Stuart tiara, so she doesn't wear it.
As to the Ansorena tiara, that I mencionded in an post above, it does have some small inges so it can be worned in a more closed version. Queen Ena wore it like this on her first photos as Queen of Spain. Still I think it would be a bit big for Princess Letizia's head, she is a smaller lady than her predecessers. But of course, only time will tell how she would wear it in the future.
And finnaly, staying on the main topic, to my personal taste I prefered the previous design of the danish rubi tiara, but I am not the one who has to carry it on the head for hours, so the Princess adapted it to her head size and personal taste so she could feel more confortable wearing it. I don't think that anything unrepearable has been done, so, in the future if the wife of Prince Christian decides to put it back as it was, it could be done without much trouble.
I also like very much that the Princess is trying diferent versions on her jewels. She has replaced the lower chandellier part of the rubi earrings, so far, with white pearls, more yellowish pearls on the swedish wedding, and now grey pearls. She also has detached the lower element of the brooch and wore it as a pendant, and now she replaced it by a grey pearl. I believe she is enjoying the variations she could do with her jewelry and that is really nice!
