Hm, maybe, maybe not. After all the Greek don't have many opportunities to dig deep into their jewel caves and wear all the important stuff. Maybe they just did not want to alter such a magnificent piece for just one airing in a century. Maybe Crown Princess Marie-Chantal felt that she did not have the right to alter the piece - as had Crown Princess Mary with the ruby tiara up to now. After all we don't even know who owns the piece. Let's be content that someone decided she should wear this diadem at last and hope that we will see it again soon !
