You have totally convinced me. Everything connected with the Stuart Parure has such a mythical dimension, then it suddenly are "just normal" diamonds.
The setting with the "lifting" technique (to refract the light from behind the rose-cut diamond) and the identical shape prove your right.
This means that the various items of the Stuart Parure are simply in the cassettes in the safes of Noordeinde Palace. And that they are not collecting dust but that the Court Jeweller indeed has had the corsage de sévigné (bow broche) in his hands to remove two of the dangling diamond pendants, to attach these to earhangers.
