Sorry, folks, but as I have no access to article in VORSTEN, this discussion is confusing me. Do I understand correctly, that the author of the article dicovered the b/w pic of the tiara in the Royal Begeers archives? But do the archive also confirm that it is from the year 1897? If I understood the discussion correctly, there is only the photo and no accompanying documentation from the archives. So that could mean that Begeers either made the tiara completely new, or they altered an existing tiara (eg. from Queen Sophie), couldn’t it? Could anyone please enlighten me? Thanks in advance!
