A footnote says re 1937 from Garrard "Supplying button pearl, 107 rose diamonds & 3 diamonds to The Dagmar Cross & Necklace and cleaning" Makes one wonder just what that was all about.
Roberts makes no mention of the piece being worn by either Queen Mary or Queen Elizabeth (QM) so I take that to mean that it is not known.
I have a vague idea that Queen Mary might have used some of the pearl drops but that is more or less guesswork.
