Over the past decades several Royals Courts have become more aware of public interest and opened up their palaces with special exhibits, combining special Royal Jubilees/Weddings/Anniversaries etc. with a large display of heirlooms from the Royal Vaults.
BP has shown quite a lot of glitter and many baubles to the public, as well as the British Royal Collection has been vey generous in sharing info on many historical pieces
The Danish Court displays the royal collection in a superb way at Rosenborg Castle.
However, apart from the regular royal exhibitions at Palace Het Loo and the main focus on weddings/births and the recent Investiture it would have been nice if - for example - the Royal Palace in Amsterdam would have some heirlooms 'on show' in a special Vault!
Now, all we get to see is some silver-tableware and the odd (fake) tiara at exhibits. The Dutch Court better take a good look at neighbouring courts, especially so since the royal ladies themselves seem to have taken a greater interest in 'playing around' with the available lot and surely are aware of the huge interest in the O-N collection!
