Remarkable, opals. I have never seen opals in the Dutch royal collection before. This seems to be odd since some of the few jewels left by Queen Anna Pavlovna to her son King Willem III were the opals she had inherited from her mother Maria Feodorovna! I wonder if these few opals are from the inheritance.
