    No it is obviously not a real parure.

    Stylewise I think the necklace suits the tiara known as housediamond bandeau better than the Stuarttiara.

    Ofcourse the diamonds are real but what would/could be the reason for not wearing the necklace for 92 years?
    I realy think it is so strange for Wilhelmina not to wear it during her long reign.
    She did wear all other available necklaces.
    Could the necklace be designed in 1897 but not made than?
    I mean René Brus found the designs at archives of Schurmann but maybe the actual order to make it came decades later?
