I don't find that a satisfying answer as the size of the stones is a limitation to what one can do design wise but using the same repeating basic motifs (floral, leafs and berries etc) in the tiara, necklace and corsage can't be that difficult, surely!? No I still believe this indicates these were never made as a parure but rather individual pieces worn together as a parure by Juliana. Wilhelmina only wore the tiara and corsage together on ocassion. As said, we have yet to find a picture of her with the necklace which is strange considering it was supposedly made for her in 1897......And it was not as if she was not used to wearing uncomfortable bulky jewellery either.....as we can see in another thread.

: You are absolutely right about the set not
: being a parure. None of the 3 jewels share
    : the same design.
    :
: But then: if you want to execute a tiara,
: necklace and brooch in the same design, one
: also needs the same stones in the same
: shapes. And that's where the difference with
: this commission pops up: the jeweller had to
: work with a given number of historic
: diamonds. There was no liberty in design, he
: HAD to work with the diamonds that were
    : provided to him.
