I'm afraid that most likely these are not real pearls i.e. natural pearls. Baroque shapes are very common in all types of cultured pearls - you can check that easily by Google picture search. Search for example Freshwater baroque South Sea baroque Tahitian baroque and you get tons of pictures of cultured baroque pearls.
Maxima's necklace looks like a mid-price pearl necklace with maybe good quality freshwater baroque pearls in natural lavender and pink colours, tanzanites or sapphires of cabochon roundelle cut and diamond spacers set in oxidized silver. Modern but with a bit rustique look.
But the earrings on Maxima - I would bet they are natural pearls.
--Previous Message-- : Difficul to say I think. Cultured peals do not : always end up being perfectly round either : but it's likely these are natural BAROQUE : pearls. : : : : --Previous Message-- : Wow. the new neklace is very beautiful. : Modern : and restrained. I like it very much. The : pearls are quite irregular shaped. Does that : mean these are natural pearls (more : expensive) ? : : :
