I don't believe that the Dutch in general would notice. Here, on this board we all get quite excited when we see items like the tutti-frutti appear, but most probably the general public think it's stage jewelry. Not one of my friends has any interest in jewels, except perhaps the odd elderly lady who owns good diamonds herself, but then she's not interested in the royals, so she too has no opinion. --Previous Message-- : If they were / are buying expensive jewellery : at this pace one might raise the question : whether the Dutch taxpayers are paying them : a bit too much.
