At the silver wedding aniversary of her daughter Wilhelmina and son-i-law Hendrik queen Emma wore a tiara we have so for not been able to pin point. She had received from her husband the Saphire set, the Mellerio ruby parure, the diamond floral tiara and the Mellerio prong tiara. Not one of these pieces fit with the bad picture that is known of the Queen from that event. She is clearly wearing her weddinggift diamond brooch/stomacher and something in diamonds on the lace cap and veil.
Could it be it was Queen Emma who converted her diamond rivière in the rose cut bandeau? The bandeau alone would be too small the picture does show some element sticking up. Im guessing they could be some of the smaller stars she received on her wedding as well (she got two sets of stars).
