It looks if she had some kind of necklace, what could that be?
--Previous Message-- : I think it is very plausible that the base of : the tiara consists of the necklace worn as a : bandeau. The green area shows large diamonds : as we know them in the bandeau. I guess at : the sides they are partly covered by the : veil. : Not all of the prongs seem to be stars, : though. Could two of the prongs perhaps be : pearl and diamond elements from the 1879 Van : Kempen tiara? : : --Previous Message-- : : : : The areas of interest are in red and green. : I also believe they are stars. The red : circle on the far left resembles a star : brooch, at least that's what I think. Still : can't figure out what else she's wearing on : her head. I believe someone suggested the : base of the Antique Pearl tiara topped with : the five stars that could be mounted on the : Diamond Tiara made by Begeer in 1890. : : : : : : --Previous Message-- : At the silver wedding aniversary of her : daughter Wilhelmina and son-i-law Hendrik : queen Emma wore a tiara we have so for not : been able to pin point. She had received : from her husband the Saphire set, the : Mellerio ruby parure, the diamond floral : tiara and the Mellerio prong tiara. Not one : of these pieces fit with the bad picture : that is known of the Queen from that event. : She is clearly wearing her weddinggift : diamond brooch/stomacher and something in : diamonds on the lace cap and veil. : : Could it be it was Queen Emma who converted : her diamond rivière in the rose cut bandeau? : The bandeau alone would be too small the : picture does show some element sticking up. : Im guessing they could be some of the : smaller stars she received on her wedding as : well (she got two sets of stars). : : : : : :
