Oh yes, tiaras on ebay. About 2 years ago, while doing a search for some artisan crafted jewelry I found a 19th century diamond and platinum tiara listed for around $50,000. Maybe last year I saw a diamond and emerald parure with a tiara(missing a couple stones) for something around the region of $25,000. Of course, you can also find less expensive options crafted in Asia that could certainly rival Princess Claire's tiara. It will require wading through many pages of badly crafted replicas to find but they are there. You can also occasionally find nice vintage cut steel tiaras. Like I said, it often requires wading through dozens and dozens of pages of horrible replicas (some that use photos of real royal jewels in their auction) to find the few good pieces.
Right now you can find a nice little convertible tiara for $31,000. Check it out here.
