I wasn't suggesting calling it a fake tiara or the Indian fake tiara. I merely commented on the possibility (rather obvious from the pics, IMHO) that it is not the design of a first quality jeweler nor crafted with first quality gems. Even if the stones are low quality dark diamonds that are not typically used for jewels they are still real gems and the craftsman, even if not from a place like Cartier, has skill. That equates to less expensive and somewhat lower quality to me, it does NOT equate to "fake."
My original point was that ladies can find lower quality tiaras and parures online (not just ebay) or crafted by student jewelers, that are of good enough quality that a lady wouldn't feel ashamed to wear them to a gala. It wasn't an insult to Claire, at all! You know, obviously, not all of them are of that quality, but if you do the work to find them it's worth it.
