In the same 1998 magazine as the above post I found yet another surprise. At a gala event at Ajuda Palace the Duchess was wearing a beautiful Diamond bow brooch that looked somehow familiar to me... Then I remembered a photo I've seen of the Duchess's mother, Dona Raquel de Herédia, wearing it at a family ceremony. Like most women often do, the Duchess also borrows/lends clothing and jewelry items from her mother and sister. There is at least another set of jewelry that mother and daughter shared, I will post it in a future thread. The question remains to me however, did Dona Isabel borrowed the jewels from her mother, or did Dona Raquel borrowed jewels from her daughter? Most likely the first assumption may be the correct one...
