I'm inclined to believe that the bracelets of the theme here, do have surrounds of two rows of diamonds. That seems more Queen Victoria to me.
--Previous Message-- : I suspect they are not the same if Field says : two rows. : There seem to have been quite a few of these : made, with either miniatures or ciphers. : Another example is the bracelet in the link : below. Notice how the petal above the : portrait sits differently from Nellie's : example- otherwise we could assume they were : the same! : : I think the ones that were chosen by Queen : Mary must have been of particularly good : quality. : --Previous Message-- : : Scroll about one quarter the way down to - : : Tudor Rose brooch with miniature of Queen : Adelaide, commissioned by William IV 1835 : : in the centre column!!!!!!!!!!! : : : : http://www.pinterest.com/victoriandiva23/royal-crowns-tiaras-jewels/ : : Another link with more detail - : : http://stalkingthebelleepoque.blogspot.com.au/2011_02_20_archive.html : : : :
