The "English jewels" that Queen Adelaide separated from the Hannover bequest would be interesting in light of the earrings question above. There must have been lists of the latter in the court cases. But diamonds were moved from piece to piece. Perhaps the careful Rundells records might show what diamonds were used, and whether there was more than one pair of chandelier earrings.
Are there pictures of Queen Charlotte's 'great stomacher,' with and without diamonds, as there are for the circlet that was stripped for Queen Elizabeth's crown? Is the empty stomacher still in its case somewhere?
