Camilla at Charles's Coronation Archived Message

Imagine Board members, given your years of studying Royal Jewels and I their history, if you were given the task of recommending what jewels Camilla is to wear to Charles's coronation (may it be years away yet).

To stay on topic of this RJMB, I don't want to stray into the whole debate of whether Camilla will be officially called Queen etc. Rather, for the sake of this discussion, let's have the scenario that Camilla will not be physically crowned with Charles, but rather escort Charles to his coronation as a consort.

    Now what jewels??

Obviously, we would want to stay away from any stark comparison with the current Queen's image out of respect and being mindful of some public's opinion. Thus, would the King George IV State Diadem be out of question? I think so - Camilla would want to stay away from any direct comparison with a crown. So in this case, while avoiding the circlet at the coronation is potentially a negative, this would give Camilla the chance to set her own image and style etc.

To help organize our discussion threads, I will now create separate reply threads to sort our discussions on:
    - Tiaras
    - necklaces
    - brooches / stomagers
    - bracelets and other

I hope board members will get into the spirit of pure fun and conjecture, and not be bogged down in the potential political debate (there are other forums for that).

You have complete authority to riffle through the vaults to retrieve anything and the crown jewelers will be on hand to do any changes or tinkering. The main objective here is to utilize some very historic pieces, while making Camilla look fabulous.
