Arthur, I had been thinking the same thing. Personally, I never like the look of the Coronation necklace with Lahor drop PLUS another rivière below it (to me a pendant should be on the lowest row of a necklace).
I do like the three rivieras you listed / illustrated above on QEQM - they sit nicely together, have balanced spacing between each row and still pack a carat punch.
--Previous Message-- : I expect something quite similar to Queen : Elizabeth at the 1937 or 1953 Coronations: : several diamond rivieres, possibly mixed : with ropes of large pearls. Simple, but : stunning and definitely regal! : : For the diamond rivieres: : - Queen Victoria's Coronation riviere : - Queen Elizabeth's Coronation riviere : - plus possibly the Duchess of Teck's : riviere, which is quite longer than the : other two mentioned above. Roberts suggests : that it was worn by the Queen Mother at the : 1953 Coronation. : The combination of these "Coronation : rivieres" would make quite a statement, : highlighting Camilla's status as Queen : consort, even if she is not crowned. : : : : :
