Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik would be a fair substitute if one must be made.

: So, what tiara is Cams going to wear to this
: future coronation? While the KGIV State
: Diadem is out for this event, there are many
    : other options....
    :
: I would love to see the Delhi Durbar Tiara
: dusted off and slightly altered - I'm
: thinking channeling Queen Mary here and her
: capacity to add considerable caret power to
: this piece. Below are pictures on both
: Camilla wearing the tiara, and QM with one
    : iteration of the tiara
    :
    :
    :
: Firstly, I'm not sure whether I would
: re-instate the top row of diamond that was
: taken off? I'll be interested in other's
: opinions on that. Now, for the carets. I'd
: leave the Cullinan III pear shape on the
: top, however place the splendid Koh-i-Noor
: in the center. The latter stone is nearly
: twice the size of the Cullinan IV that QM
: used above, and has also been used in all
: Queen Consort crowns since Queen Alexandra.
: The only other change I would do would be to
: bring the shape of the tiara in slightly, so
: it is less fanned out (as Camilla had it
: above), resulting in a slightly more circlet
: shaped - that way Cams gets near a diadem,
    : without crossing the line.
    :
: This tiara has strong historical links, has
: not been pictured on QEII (avoiding any
: comparisons with Camilla), and the larger
: tiara size suits Camilla's hair and face (as
: we have seen above and with the larger
    : Grevillea tiara).
    :
: What are your thoughts, too much? Nah, we're
: talking Camilla here and the most important
: event in her life - she will pull it off
    : with grace and style.
    :
: What alternative tiaras could posters dream
    : up?
