Wearing the circlet version of Queen Mary's or Queen Elizabeth's crown could be an option highlighting Camilla's status as the King's consort, even if she is not technically crowned herself. But I agree it would raise mixed reactions, because a crown is a crown, even in the circlet version...
Queen Victoria's small crown would not be an option, in my opinion. Too small for Camilla's hairdo!
George IV's Diamond Diadem? A strong regal symbolism, but not a crown technically. So, a plausible option... but probably the "non-surprise" option!
The Durbar tiara would be the best option in my opinion. Not a crown technically, but made for a Coronation. And its high size makes it definitely a solid candidate for a triumpal coronation appearance!
I personally like it very much like it is now, so I would not add the Cullinans back - their large size makes a too sharp contrast with the delicate scroll-pattern of the tiara. And I would not add back the removed top line of diamonds. Maybe just a small round diamond at the top of the tiara, which looks a bit empty.
