The reality is this - if the biggest producer of musicals has cancelled the biggest productions until next year, there is no chance of any theatre happening! CM wouldn’t risk his biggest month’s income if there was any chance of shows being able to be staged in 2020. Producers need to avoid spending any unnecessary money preparing for a 2020 season THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN, as much as we might want it to!

This is about keeping the vulnerable in our society safe. And that’s far more important than anything else.
