If you read up on Andrew Lloyd Webber's hopeful plans to test a reopening of the Palladium with the correct safety precautions, the measures put in place would allow social distancing to be dismissed whilst keeping safety key. If we look at Korea's theatre who have been running Phantom for months now, we could have a similar system in place for certain theatres in England. Granted, that country is in a better position cases/deaths wise than we are but presumably we will reach that stage and look to open theatres safely.This year, we may see only the larger theatres reopen who can afford the latest tech to allow social distancing to be dismissed inside completely. Just something to take into consideration. And whilst I can't afford to buy out a full performance, I would certainly be willing to go to the theatre once they reopen, and not be fearful at all.
