I do know that using a heating pad frequently makes my muscles relax and the spasming stop, but I notice that it makes my muscles weaker after using it frequently, too. I use a balance workout, too, but haven't been using it enough lately. If you can find a gym with either steam or infrared heat, try it and see if it relieves you. I loved it, but the gym that we went to has been so crazy since the pandemic that we let our membership lapse and haven't started going back. I miss it. I did see recently where I could order an infrared kit if there was a spare closet that could be turned into a heat unit. I have been thinking about it.
