No I’m thrilled, honestly. I’m dying to see Princess Michael in a tweed suit.
Precisely. Over the years I have seen several of the Ducal outfits (court dresses /robes/ coronets) on display and they were all in a very poor state. It would have looked absolutely ridiculous as they would have resembled props in a village stage play. But it seems plenty of board members would have loved the smell of mothballs and decay regardless.

I recall seeing a documentary a few years ago where a hereditary peer, living in more modest circumstances than his ancestors, took down the robes from the attic only to find the moths had attacked the ermine.
I’m gravely disappointed by this dress code revelation.
Really?? This shall be the Invitation to the holy act of anointing and coronation of His Majesty Charles III. of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland etc. etc.?
This nice little flower card including a jumping unicorn and a cheering little lion my 10 years old neighbor girl would make be quiet happy. I find the signature "Norfolk" particularly cute.
Did I miss something or is this just an April Fools joke?
According to TheRoyalWatcher on twitter... the dresscode for the coronation will be daywear/uniforms instead of gowns and tiaras. He have seen an invitation for the coronation.

We've speculated ago it what tiara might be worn and by whom. Might this coronation ceremony be tiara free?
