For your information the inauguration of Juliana was a uniform or morning coat affair during the day and there were white tie dinners and a concert. Juliana did wear the Stuart parure during one of these evenings as well as other tiara's. Beatrix started the weird men in white tie and women in long dresses, orders and hats. She was the one who made the evening party a black tie affair and did away with the longstanding tradition of having a large banquet in the Royal Palace on the day of the inauguration. --Previous Message-- : It would surprise me if we would see more than : one diadem (the Queen during the : Investiture). It is also possible the Queen : will not wear a diadem, also that is nothing : new: in 1948 Queen Juliana opted for a : (bejwelled) juliette cap instead of a : diadem. :
