The fact that we have never seen the Guillermos or the Van Vollenhovens with major pieces, not even during the festivities around the Investiture and the De Bourbon de Parmes so now and then but also not too spectacular, would this indicate that for an example Princess Beatrix has already agreed with the three other heirs (read: already made a financial agreement) and that is the answer why we see Queen Máxima now with the one after the other stunning piece and the other "equal" members of the family not?
After all, the Duchess of Parma could have wowed anyone with wearing a stunning parure. In theory she has an equal right as Queen Máxima and she is very exercising the royal function as she is the spouse to the head of a royal house as well...
Maybe the four daughters have assembled after the death of their parents, took good counsel with all their advisers and agreed. Hence all these foundations (Lys Fund, Daffodil Trust, etc.) which popped up after 2004?
