I completely agree with you Cristina. Though it's such a shame these wonderful jewels left the Braganza dynasty, how lucky we are they ended in Queen Josefina's hands and the Swedish Queens continued to wear them in the most glittering way possible. It would be such a waste if they remained with a non-reigning RF. --Previous Message-- : Thank you! I don't remember CP Viktoria's nor : Queen Lovisa's pictures either... I : definatelly need to sharpen my eyes . : : Well, I really don't know what to say about : these earrings... The stones are superb, no : doubt about that, but I think I understand : why they were worn only twice. That design : really has something unapealling to me, I'm : sorry to say. And the metal : "string" behind the earrings makes : them look a bit like safety pins... : : Queen Lovisa did try to improve them by : adding pearls, and in fact I think they look : nicer, with a more complete design. : It would be a nice idea, and quite modern I : think, if the royal ladies decid to hang : diferent stones from the earrings like Queen : Lovisa did with the pearls. Perhaps there : are some loose rubis, amethysts, emeralds : that could fit... The earrings would be : easely convertible and more wearable than : they are now... : : : : : : : --Previous Message-- : I posted pictures when Victoria was seen in : these earrings... : : : : In addition, I found picture of Queen Lovisa : of Sweden wearing the same earrings with : pearl drops...As many times I have looked at : this picture, I never noticed earrings just : like you didn't notice them on Queen Silvia : in 1976 LOL... : : : :
