Thank you very much Stefan and Boris for clearing this subject! May I say that's why I love this board. We started this thread believing, according to reliable sources, that those wore the Brazilian earrings, and thanks to the contributions of the marvellous photo archives and deep knowledge expertise of the members of this board, we now see that information cannot be right and a new jewelry mistery has now being unveiled. So, thank you very much to all of you! This is very exciting . So, the big questions now: what earrings are truly the real Brazilian earrings, and where did these ones came from? Apart from the necklace of course... I think we still have much to discover about the Brazilian diamond parure Previous Message-- : We have a problem at our hands... : Thank you very much Stefan for keeping the : timeline in mind - you are absolutely : correct: : The earrings simply cannot be part of : Empress Amalia's parure if worn by Queen : Lovisa, and her photo posted by Tamara shows : that they are a match, IMO. : Consequently, Bjarne Steen Jensen and Anna : von Lowzow must have gotten it wrong when : they identified these earrings as belonging : to the Brazilian parure in the 'Royal : Jewels' TV documentary... : ...and we now have the necklace and the : earrings of the Brazilian parure unaccounted : for. They must be right before our eyes, as : they cannot have left the Bernadotte : Foundation after they were made part of it : in 1876. : : --Previous Message-- : But when the brazilian diamonds came to : Sweden : Queen Lovisa was no longer alive. So it have : to be different diamonds. : --Previous Message-- : I posted pictures when Victoria was seen in : these earrings... : : : : In addition, I found picture of Queen Lovisa : of Sweden wearing the same earrings with : pearl drops...As many times I have looked at : this picture, I never noticed earrings just : like you didn't notice them on Queen Silvia : in 1976 LOL... : : : : : :
