Thank you Tamara! The Nobel Prize 2007 was remarkable then for CP Victoria using certain items of jewelry as diamond collet necklace pendants – and neither of them has been seen worn like this again: The center piece of the stomacher/necklace at the ‘Day After’ gala at the Palace, and Queen Viktoria’s diamond and pearl flower brooch, with the pearl stamens removed, at the actual ceremony – see below. The earrings made from the stomacher pendants have become the most frequently worn by CP Victoria, while Queen Silvia wore them a lot when she was younger. Still, they’re IMO missing in the design of the stomacher necklace, IMHO. The small diamond earrings: CP Victoria’s pendants at the Nobel galas 2007: --Previous Message-- : That pendant is part of Queen Josephine's : corsage, which famously Princess Lilian use : to wear during gala times : : : : The two diamond drops next to it were : removed and turned into earrings and : Victoria wears them quote often. : In the above picture of Queen Josephine, she : has pearls instead of diamond drops : : : --Previous Message-- : Of course it could... there are more than : half : a dozen different diamond rivières in the : Bernadotte collection, and only the : provenance of one of them is definitely : known (the shorter necklace of large : graduated diamond collets which was Queen : Victoria's). : The pendant here makes me wonder indeed as I : don't remember CP Victoria wearing it again, : or Queen Silvia ever wearing it. : : --Previous Message-- : Could the diamond necklace (worn by Princess : Victoria in the second picture), with its : "Bee"-like pendant, be the missing : Braganca necklace? : : : : :
