In the Netherlands we have a special article in our constitution that provides for a case like the count of Clermont. Had Catharina-Amalia been born with a handicap that rendered her unable to ever forfill the role of monarch a special bill could exclude her from succession. In that scenario HRH princess Alexia would become the Princess of Orange upon her father's succession and queen of the Netherlands in due time.
