MAYBE SHE WILL WEAR A TOTALY NEW TIARA? I wouldn't be to shure that she is going to wear something we know... She has also surprised everyone on her weddingday by wearing a totaly new concept... The stars had never been worn on the base of the pearl-button tiara. She could easily pull off such a surprise again. We all know the cassettes are plentyfull in the Dutch case. The Necklace of the Stuart Parure could make a tiara, also could the trellis necklace. She could have her weddingtiara-base topped with 5 other broches (the "Lippe"-Roses come to mind). Or even have that base topped with 5 newly created leave-broches so that her crown would look like Queen Sophie's strawberryleave crown (something I always hoped for). Ofcourse she can also shoose to have nothing in her hair? Or wear (a sort of) hat. Sonja of Norway wore something like a kokoshnik-shaped crown made of the same fabric as her Balmain-dress at the Consecration-ceremony in Trondheim...also gave a very regal appearance. She could also wear a daytime dress with a sobre Evita-style updo...who knows? I hope that she will dazzle us all with her latin exuberance and doesn't try to addept to us boring calvinistic Dutchmen... With very few means they could make such a crown for Maxima to wear on the 30th of april. The base is already in possesion of the family and at least one of the strawberryleaves is there to (so the jeweler would only have to (re-)create 4 other (maybe gradualy slightly smaller) leaves... I don't know why but I always hoped for something along these lines but ofcourse she would have to wear it like this, on top of her head, not tilted backwards in her hair... Dignified, royal and so fitting for an Investiture/Coronation/Inauguration whatever you want to call it.
