Neither in 1948 nor in 1980 hair jewels were worn by royal ladies, Dutch or foreign. At best there will the usual Prinsjesdag dresscode, like in 1948 or 1980. After all the event is essentially the same as on Prinsjesdag: a joint session of the two Chambers of the States-General. The given dresscode for the ladies and gentlemen parliamentarians is the same as on Prinsjesdag, apart from the request by the presidium not to wear too ostentatious hats because the parliamentarians must be visible when saying the oath or promise. I am sure it will be a colourful day, with jewels here and there on the ladies and maybe a diadem on the Queen. That is all. By the way: I am not sure of the ladies wore diadems at the Investiture of King Willem I in 1813. It look like hair ornaments, fascinators, feathers, but no diadems:
