Yes, the dark red sash of this Jordanian order would clash with the purple colour of the amethysts. Moreover, King Abdullah II has already paid a State Visit to the United-Kingdom a few years ago, and Queen Elizabeth II will probably not pay a State Visit to Jordan in the years to come. So there is little probability we will see such a combination.
But as I suggested earlier, the Kent amethysts would make a lovely match with the purple sash of the Belgian order of Leopold. As King Philippe has ascended the Throne recently, he will have to pay State Visits to the neighbouring countries and to the royal cousins! The last State Visits between Belgium and the United-Kingdon date back, as far as I know, to 1963 (Belgian State Visit to the UK) and 1966 (British State Visit to Belgium). So I hope we will see a Belgian State Visit to Britain in the coming years - even more since King Albert II did not pay a State Visit to Britain during his 20-year long reign, did he?
Of course, the Kent amethysts could also make a nice combination with pale blue or yellow sashes.
Here are pictures from the 1963 and 1966 British-Belgian State Visits:
