Nellie I've been diging into the online pages of the brazilian newspaper, but I was not lucky so far...
On the edition of November 6th 1968, page 16, there a small photo of what it seem to be Queen Elizabeth and some other people (perhaps the president and first lady?). It seems like the Queen (who seems to be wearing QA fringe) is admiring something she has in her hands, it could be the gift being presented to her or an order, its really hard to tell. The photo is black and white and tiny, and the enlargement option is available to subscribers of the newspaper only, I am not even able to read any of the sentences bellow the photo that might gives us some clue... A bit frustating it is. I tried searching in others newspapers and no luck so far, any research for aquamarine gifts redirects to the major gift in the 1950's, no info on the 1968 gift. W'll keep trying, perhaps we will be lucky and find something one of these days
