Too bad, I hope the new Queen and/or the Court Jeweller reads this blog. It is weird that a diadem in 1888 was like a meccano box with so many possibilities but that the 'improvement' in fact resulted into a 'permanent' situation. I hope the new Queen and/or the Court Jeweller will re-discover Oscar Masin's genius and return the diaden back into multi-purpose state...
