That's an interesting connection Laurence. Without hesitation I would have said Queen Victoria's Regal Circlet. In my experience families do have different recollections of the same occasions and there are sometimes explanations as to how a person comes to understand what they do about a family matter. There would be something in the Norwegian tale that fits this puzzle but we seem to be destined to keep on having questions about it. How about this to add to the "confusion". Some authors value the accuracy of Winterhalter's work.
